"...you also should wash one another's feet"

Hey guys!!! Hope everyone is having a great week! It was awesome to get together and share with each of you. In our meeting we talked about Servant Leadership and how our greatest example is Christ. We talked about how Christ washed his disciples feet, but where are there other examples of Christ demonstrating his Servant leadership, and how can we apply those examples to our lives and marriages?

Love you all. Dave and Andrew

Being the God-Man that Jesus was, one of the most amazing things that he took time to do was to PRAY!! He didn't have to pray (he was and is all knowing) but he did for two main reasons. First for our redemtion, guidance and protection. John 17:11 and 20-21, talks about Jesus praying for his disciples and other believers protection, not just protection, but their ones in Christ. Second is as an example, Matt 6:5-15 Jesus teaches us how to pray. Like Rob discussed in our meeting prayer is vital in our relationship with God, with our family, and as a leader. Becoming the servant leader in our home starts with prayer. My challenge, 1st for myself, and for us all is to begin to deny ourselves and our business and pray. Check out some other verses that talk about Jesus praying Mark 1:35,14:22, Luke 5:16, 10:21, 22:44, Matt 26:39, 27:46.
